Lipo(lithium polymer)batteries combine a high discharge rate along with a high energy-storage-to-weight ratio. Therefore, Lipo batteries can provide a greater flow of energy over a longer period of time for its weight than most other battery types. Because of this, lipo batteries are the choice for remote control modelers. The high efficiency of lipo batteries comes at the price of high maintenance because of its fragility. With proper maintenance, you can enjoy full use from lipo batteries, benefiting from a high level of battery technology. You may ask, how to care for Lipo batteries?
Instructions
1. Make sure the number of individual cells totally in your battery pack.
2. To avoid under or overcharging, you’d better set the lithium battery charger to the same voltage as your battery pack.
3. Charging with specific charger according to product specification. Reverse connection will not charge the cells. At the same time, it will reduce the charge-discharge characteristics and safety characteristics; leading to product heat and leakage.
4. While the Cell pack is charged, used and stored, keep it away from objects or materials with static electric charges.
5. Keep the batteries fully charged before storage.
6. When not using cell pack for an extended period, remove it from the equipment and store in a place with low humidity and low temperature.
