What we called primary batteries are used once, then discarded. They have the advantage of convenience and cost less per battery, with the down side of costing more over the long term. Generally, primary batteries have a higher capacity and initial voltage than rechargeable batteries and a sloping discharge curve. Most primary batteries do not presently require special disposal.
Li-SOCl2 battery as primary battery plays a vital role in industry area. They are popular of wide temperature range and low current discharge. For most of customers, they seem like not only taking battery’s electronic performance into account but also caring much about battery’s size, shape and weight, which decide if the battery suitable for specified products.
Recently, EEMB designed a new model of ER14250T, which is shorter of 0.75 mm than ER14250. Obviously, the breakthrough is the size. The reason of EEMB updating the Li-SOCl2 batterytechnology is that the new dimension can make the battery applied in more widely area. Besides, the change can reduce the expense of battery raw material. But there have no change about electronic performance, which means our customers have more models to choose while they intend to purchase Li-SOCl2 battery.
